Text Hyperlinks

Hyperlinks allow you to link between files in your web site or to pages in other websites. These are internal and external hyperlinks.

To make text into a hyper link select the text you want to be a link and then go to the Edit menu and down to Hyperlink. Then select if you want an internal link, to select a page in your Freeway document, or external, where you enter the type of link and then type the web address.

You can also go to the bottom of the page and click on the link button there.

External links

It is important to start the address with the correct type of web address:

FTP to link to a server like you web server
HTTP for main web sites
HTTPS for secure web sites
Mailto to enter a link to email someoner

Adjusting hyperlink colours

The Inpector will allow you to change the default colours of hyperlinks.

Normal is the normal colour of the link, normally blue, then you can have a different colour to show you have visited a link and a hover to create a rollover.
